The final product

Here is the final product from the AS  course, when we have finished the evaluation then we will have finished for the year.

You may notice in this clip that the bike ride doesnt go from start to finish and instead smaller clips of Ben going from the start to the end were used. This is because we didnt want to spend too long on the bike because we didnt want to put too much emphasis on the bike ride. If we did then we would have to back this up later in the film, if we went on to complete it. The bike ride was used to simply get the character back to their house, although if you were to read in closer then you may see the time he spends of the bike as a release from the stresses of relationships and other things in life.

Also, the sound track is something that i am very fond of. This is because we were lucky enough to have the song made especially for the film. This adds to the effect as it shows how the character is feeling and also emphasises that the cemetery gates is where the two characters will meet.

Evaluation Question 4

Here is my response to question 4:

Question 3

Although the number of tickets sold has dropped for cinemas recently I think that it is important that this choice is still prioritised very highly. This is because when a film is about to come on at the cinema there is extensive advertising. This would be valuable because you would be able to make sure that your product is being widely advertised. I think that it is important that I chose English cinemas to show my product because this is the market that the genre will suit. I'm not sure that other people from other countries will understand it as much as people from England. However it may still be beneficial to show the film in America or Europe.

On demand movies are becoming increasingly popular and therefore it is important that I think about how I will decide which institutions will stream this film. I think that the best institutions to be with are the bigger ones. Simply because they attract the biggest audiences and the number of views will rise significantly should a film be listed on there. A lot of these institutions are worldwide and therefore this would be available to people from other countries. This means that they may not understand the film as much as British people.

These institutions listed are huge and attract a lot of viewers. This means that it would be very beneficial to feature on these channels. However because people can only watch them when they are live or record them it does mean that the number of viewers would decrease. Although there is Film4oD the number of views on here isn’t as much as other on demand institutions. This is because these are available easiest on the computer and people tend not to watch films on their computer. This is why I haven't given this choice particularly high priority.
